Bar Mitzvah Class
Feb 22, 2012 - 1:45 pm - 3:00 pm
The transition from child to teenager is an important milestone in any child's life. Our emphasis is to foster an awareness that this milestone is only the beginning of Jewish life and help attain a greater appreciation of a Jewish adult.

The Bar Mitzvah Discovery program focuses on the significance of the Bar Mitzvah from contemporary and historical perspectives. Students learn the structure and deeper meaning behind the service. The students learn how to read from the Torah and say recite the blessings. The weekly class explores Jewish concepts that are fundamental to understanding and appreciating our heritage and rituals.
Shabbat Services
Feb 25, 2012 - 10:00 am
Shabbat Services
Shabbat services are Sturday from 10:00am and are followed by a kiddush luncheon.

Imagine worshipping in an atmosphere of total inclusion and acceptance, where you are welcome, in fact encouraged, to ask questions. Where you are implored to be as nonjudgmental of your neighbor as he or she is of you.

Our prayer books are written in both Hebrew and English, and the page numbers are announced continuously so you may always catch up if you prefer to meditate at a slower speed. The tunes are familiar ones, and they are sung by those of us who know the words and by those of us who can only hum along, with all the gusto befitting the joy of the Sabbath.
